Magnificent First Church

I had a dentist appointment today and happened to park outside First Church which looked so beautiful against such a blue sky. Built of Oamaru stone,with a base of Port Chalmers stone,the church was designed by architect R A Lawson. The foundation stone was laid in 1868 and the church was opened on 23rd Nov 1873. It's a must see if you're even in Dunedin.
