Where Has all the Traffic Gone

Its been a relatively quiet day catching up on a few chores and just generally relaxing before the start of another busy week

However....we did deign to venture out to take in a movie..Rio 2! (fancied a bit of salsa!)

Great to be transported to the Amazon jungle because hitting the homecoming traffic proved more than a challenge and sometimes, in those kind of instances, it pays to do a roundabout tour!

It is definitely preferable to sitting in long queues and having less than complimentary thoughts about those who feel they have the right to force their four wheel drives and white vans vehicles up front creating havoc and mayhem for us orderly ones!

We didn't mind trucking it with the trucks despite the circuitous route in the closing hours of daylight!!! Made for a pleasant journey home and what we spent on petrol, we saved on stress busting medication!!!

Power to the truckers....who, by the way, are not allowed to hit the city centre until after 6pm. He was just moseeeeying along.....like us.....enjoying the view!
