Happy birthday

We awoke to total cloud cover, dampness and Claire's birthday breakfast of super noodles.

Decided to leave the gear in the tents, climb a couple of hills and then head down. Feeling weary before we started.

Up Sgurr a'Mhain, along quite narrow ridges with drops to either side, entirely hidden in cloud. By the time we reached the top we were cold and wet. Claire is easily the fittest - must be all that running!

Pack up camp & then Jack and I find a couple of snow fields to slide down (video on request). Wet arse & boots for a surprisingly exhausting trek back down to the Nevis Inn.

We ate too much and then drove home. Back by 8. Asleep by 10.
