Wild Winter Whoopers

The atmosphere was electric here. Over a thousand wild Whooper Swans courting and fighting right under my nose!

I visited the location to prepare for my upcoming 'Wild Coast and Winter Swans' photography workshop that I'm running in a few weeks time on the North West coast and enjoyed a fabulous time.

Although I come here every few weeks during the winter I always manage to come away with totally new images. The creative possibilities of a thousand white swans are endless.
