Is this too close?

Met a very lovely and friendly donkey on our walk today. I didn't take my camera, due to the frequent showers we are having at the moment and in a bid to curb my constant 'stopping to take a photograph' habit. Didn't work – I just got out the phone and took an unsatisfactory photo instead.
