Hazy Kong

First time in Hong Kong today, where I had a long transit so I went and explored the city.

Most recently living in the fens and in flat-as-a-pancake Phnom Penh I was unprepared for hills but sweated my way up Victoria Peak which would have provided excellent views of the city if I hadn't emerged into a thick grey cloud and some very British drizzle. The drizzle should have left in 1997 with the last British Governor.

I also wonder about the permanent damage done to my internal thermoregulation processes. The weather chart was showing low 20s but I shivered at one point and had to run into a Starbucks for shelter. At least good preparation for a UK trip.
