A Local Snail Tale

It's been overcast all day and while we were out this morning we spied quite a few snails. Haven't seen any since last year. This one was a fine lively one moving along at a cracking pace and Toto wouldn't go near it!

The rain started earlier tonight, lovely misty and fine at first getting heavier now just as I'm heading off to bed. Just perfect because that sound on the roof puts me instantly to sleep.
