Chipping Village, Ribble Valley, Lancashire

I had an appointment out near Chipping today and decided on a slight detour on the way home and to visit Chipping Village.

This sleepy picturesque village is a true delight to visit, especually through the week when it is not full of tourists, and although its a lot of years since I last visited has not changed much at all.

Despite a delightful cafe being on the corner of the high street I did manage to resist the temptation to call in for a coffee and a cake, settling instead for a bottle of water in my car.
