Stalactites
Today's blip is more of a curiosity photo than anything of technical merit. It was taken in La Grotte de Villars in Perigord. Photography is prohibited and the tour guide lady was a bit scary, so this is a rather sneaky and hastily taken blip. However, no flash was used, so no stalactites were harmed in the making of this photograph.
The Villars grotto was discovered in 1953 by the Perigord potholers club. There are more than 13km of underground caves including some amazing prehistoric wall paintings.
