Beresford Dale

A favourite place for a Bank Holiday stroll. Beck's Grandma used to have a caravan down here during the Summers that they'd visit when she was a kid (sorry, this is when Beck was a kid, not her Grandma...) In the winter, Beck's Uncle Maurice would tow it back to Leek and park it in his garage. Anyway, if we're in training for Ben Nevis in the Summer, on this showing we're going to struggle a bit, though we did have a pleasant walk - and a least Gordon's ice cream van was there to provide us with a cider lolly on the way back...

Beck was in charge of the music this afternoon too, so once she'd got her weird hankering to listen to the Cranberries out of the way we just had to choose between 'Sixties Joni' and 'Seventies Joni.' It was 'Sixties Joni' that won out today...
