Bending Exuberance ...

A day with a changing weather situation. At one moment it seemed like summer with a bright blue sky and a few white clouds. Then again drab and gray as in autumn with occasional rain. But - blue or gray sky - each with a strong wind from the southwest.

This profuse blooming irises I photographed during such period in the summer-like afternoon. Illuminated by a bright sun bending the large flower heads in the fresh breeze.

I chose a b/w version since the contrasts of light show so beautifully ...;)
