Queen Mary

Another trip to the London Library at lunchtime today to collect a book I had reserved.

My route to the London Library takes me past several memorials to former Queens Consort. A couple of weeks ago I blipped the rather fanciful memorial to Queen Alexandra; today it's the much more down to earth Queen Mary, wife of George V and grandmother of our current Queen.
