Overdose

Jack wonders whether, next time, it might be more profitable to plant some beans in his particularly fertile patch of garden....

Busy day. An IAM drive in the morning; gardening most of the day in preparation for Monday's Open Garden Railway, and playing for the wedding ceilidh in the evening.

Conveniently, the latter was in walking distance of home. Less conveniently, the meal was running 30 minutes late, but our time slot immovable (because of a mix of licence, being in a marquee and using amplification).

Curiously no-one seems bothered about the same venue frequently setting off fireworks we can hear half a mile away, at times much later than we were to play tonight.

Anyway, the PA was set up and balanced in record time, and a good time was had by all.
