Jean and Jeff

This morning we popped in to see my dear friends in Porlock who i mentioned earlier in the year. Jeff had been ill last year but is now recovered but unfortunately Jean now has the prospect of a serious procedure shortly.life can be so unfair sometimes but they are both calm and sanguine about it all. They used to live in Culbone, where we walked to after our visit and after Jeff had shown us his new raised beds in their garden. He had to relinquish his allotment last year but is thrilled with the new set up. Having been a farmer and then a gardener by trade he really does have 'green fingers'.
