Voodoo Doll
Seaton Sluice is a very interesting place on the Northumberland coast. It was originally a port for the export of salt from the salt pans at nearby Hartley. Then bottles from the later glassworks.
This little lady 'guards' the 'cut', a new harbour entrance made in the 1760's , cut through solid rock to avoid the older, silted up, ingress.
She's a bit? Otherwordly? Spooky? Frightening??
