Garden Storytimes

One of my favourite parts of the book festival is the involvement of the community- and particularly "Garden Story Times".  For me the heart of it all!  Members of the Gardening Club in the village open their gardens to infant school children on book festival week and read stories, very often with props and creative activities, and always with juice and biscuits!

My kids are all far too old for this now...but I went today :--) as  I knew the weather forecast for the next few days isn't that great.

And I loved it x
