Stone ground

When it gets to the evening and I still haven't photographed anything, it's time to hunt around the kitchen to see what I can find. This is a reconstituted stone mortar & pestle, which gets regular use for grinding spices.

So this is an emergency blip combined with the weekly blip challenge of Stone. For those of you in my wee challenge group, finding random items like this that are vaguely related to the theme is one of the things I like about the WBC. I know it doesn't tell a story and isn't technically competent, but it gets me out of taking another flower or dog blip.
