Up early to drive back home to the countryside. Oh god, it's nice to be back in the greenery and relative calm.

Grey, coolish day here. Have visitors coming for lunch on Saturday, so starting to think about what to cook. Love this part.

Just heading to bed and heard Ziza puking, so that was a lovely surprise. Whilst cleaning that up, I spied a scorpion....had to get rid of that as well. Made a cone from a piece of paper, eased the wee critter into it (holding the thin end closed tight at the bottom), and then chucked him out the bathroom window onto the road outside where he scuttled off, hopefully to somewhere far, far away!
