Back to Black (and White)

The weather has gone grey again, but no matter, I have so enjoyed my mono moments of the past few weeks, so here I go again. I love the texture of newly formed leaves, that short lived transience between tightly packed bud into the full fleshy leaves. The water surging up from the roots to iron out the wrinkles from the inside. It's a nice challenge to try to capture spring without colour. Not sure I have made a great job of it, but it pleases me.
