Lovely little park in Duns with lots of statuary. Two war memorials and this, remembering a Franciscan friar of the 13th century.

Duns is a very historic town and also has a lovely garage who looked at our car for nothing when we picked up stone in a wheel which scared us rigid.

The whisky shop was shut on Wednesday.

It has a pub in the book which we din't enter and a Thai restaurant which we didn't taste. Maybe next time, Eh? Duns?
