Still s(miling)

There was little chance of me doing any "miling" today ('The action of running a mile (as an athletic event)', OED) or any other day, come to that - although I'll happily walk for miles. Neither did I do any milling, which the spellchecker seems to prefer (why would I, with six supermarkets within a ten-minute walk?). But there was plenty of smiling and hysterical laughter as drains, maps and life in general just fell apart. It will all be resolved tomorrow ...
