Yesterday the assistant at the DIY supplies yard said my verbal description of a drain cover was insufficient for him to help me because he had so many different ones in stock.

Today I took this picture of the broken cover back to the yard and (sucking through his teeth) the assistant said "never seen one like that".

Tomorrow at least I have a photo of the cover on my phone when I expand the search.
