Grotesque

Rubbish weather. Had to go out today since last night the supermarket closed early. not-rancid remembered that Austrians celebrate on the eve not the day!! We were lucky to get into a restaurant last night as most seemed to be having pre booked black tie affairs (also not a lot of non meat options).

So today we trudged through the snow to buy spinach and lentils and celebrate in our own way. Also got an opportunity to blip this statue, one of three wood carvings on a house wall!!
