Quick, quick, slow - worm.

They can certainly move very quickly and aren't slow at all. This poor thing was very cold, and still, and laying out in the open garden this morning. I don't know if perhaps it had been caught by our chickens or a cat before I found it. However, after a few hours of being warmed up in our boiler room it seems ready for release. Which I'm thankful for, not least because the rescued sparrow chick is still on hourly feeds!
