Three Families

Another new family.

A duck and her two babies.

She doesn't really seem to know what to do.

No father in sight.

She climbed over a wall.

The ducklings were struggling to get over.

One eventually managed, but the other one couldn't.

She then swam away with one baby, leaving the other one all alone.

I picked it up and put it into the water.

They were then reunited.

But she is struggling with single motherhood.


The goose families seem to be so much better at parenting.

The fathers are always there, helping the mothers.

Much more aware.

Work well as a team.

Both goose families are doing very well.

The goslings are thriving.
