Memories brought to mind

This decoration belonged to my mom who passed away in 2005. She kept it up all year and I'm sorry I never asked her where she got it and what memories it may have held for her. But for me it holds several...the most important one is of course of my mom, and like her, I leave it out all year; it reminds me of the post office that used to stand across from the house where I was born and lived in until I was 18 years old as well as the little church I attended (even though it was never red) and because it also says Christmas to me...with the snow and the beautiful red building.

All wonderful memories...and ones I hope to pass onto my children and grandchildren.
