Three Fishes
Three fishes, symbol of Whalley in the Ribble Valley, just down the road from school.
This was placed to celebrate the Millennium.
The three fishes are to represent the three rivers of Hodder, Calder and Ribble which converge here.
They are also thought to stand for the Holy trinity, Whalley Abbey being an important 14th century monastery.
