Visiting

This afternoon I went on an impromptu visit to a neighbour with an expat friend. As soon as I walked through the door one of the ladies exclaimed,
"You've got fat!"

5 minutes later she asked,
"Why is your Kurdish so much worse than your friend's?"

5 minutes later to my friend,
"I really like J, she's such a good friend."

I asked her how she can be really rude to me like that then say she really likes me?

The story of my life, oh, and eating food ( photo- bread, tahini, homemade goats cheese with herbs and yogurt ) and drinking sugary tea in the middle of the afternoon. I do love it though!
