no time to sit

I was on a mission this morning. Last week I mentioned the new 2hr parking restriction in the lay-by at Grasmere.

I've never timed the circular walk via Alcock Tarn. Parked up (just me in the lay-by) and had a drink of coffee from my flask. Walked at a leisurely pace and stopped on the ascent to take my jacket off. Another drink and some chocolate at the Tarn, but no sitting down. Weather wasn't too good for photos - the forecast didn't mention mist.

Back at the car and ready to drive off in 2 hr 10 mins. More photo stops and I'll have to walk faster.
