Me & my Nana
A day at the beach beckoned (or should I say was demanded) so we packed a cool box with a small picnic & big bottle of squash, much as we would have done years ago to visit a beach in North Wales when I was a kid.
We ventured a bit further under the instruction of small person (that's my friend who's house we're staying in) to La Marina and a little beach with a small hostel right next to it. We could park almost in the sand so it was easy for Nana to get to.
We played catch, splash, paddle, sand castles and find the shells as well as collect the cuttlefish. We ate our triangle sandwiches and crisps and carrots then ventured to the hostel for ice cream.
Nana & Miniman had a walk down the beach and came back with an impressive shell collection. I oohed and ahhhed in all the right places as each one was explained to me and then put into a bucket to bring home.
When told of Minimans continuing hunger we ventured once more to the hostel and this time bought drinks & home made hand cut chips which were devoured as if we'd never eaten.
It's been a grand day and we have made plans to return again but not tomorrow. Tomorrow is a day for more dive practise at the pool.
