know your onions!!

These two onions started sprouting months ago and I thought I would leave them to see what happens.....

Think I know my onions now....... i have been looking at them nearly all day.

I have been sitting working in the kitchen doing correspondence and boring bills and paper work, except when a ex colleague popped in for a cuppa.

How much longer my onions will survive I am not sure but i have become quite fond of them, surprisingly I have not named them yet!!
