Sail Away

Today I'd really like to sail away and leave all this behind - a hard day at work, so much to process and high expectations to meet. All of which has left me with a headache, dry eyes and the desire to hibernate, so I've ducked out of the gig we had booked this evening in favour of an early night. Ho hum.

I took this photograph from Hythe Marina at the weekend. This cruise ship is so tall and unstable that it can't handle bad weather, so it's full of state of the art weather tracking and forecasting systems enabling it to sail around the storms. The old style cruise liners like the Queen Mary and the QEII, on the other hand, can sail through any weather, but can't carry so many passengers. I know which I'd rather take!
