Daft dog
This is our visitor Yorkie George, my sister's dog, who is a lodger with us whilst she is in Oz.
One of his little traits is to steal things and then hide with them. It may be a plastic bottle top, or a piece of wood, or a pebble from the garden. He will try to hide the object and adopt a secretive heads-down posture in an attempt to guard whatever he has taken and secreted away.
Today George's rear end can be seen protruding from his little travelling box, a posture he has been holding for a good five minutes.
We correctly inferred that he had stolen something and was standing guard over it. Dead right!
It was a scented air freshener from the car that he had decided was his, hidden in his box and guarded with ferocious but non threatening growls.
There might be a PhD thesis on canine behaviour waiting for someone on this cute little canine. Daft as a brush!!
