Eaten Alive

Back to school and BB was very reluctant to get up this morning. He had requested that granddad take him to school, so there wasn’t the usual rush to get him to breakfast club. I had been expecting to be at work at bit later than normal for a Wednesday, but the meeting I was staying on for was postponed so I made it home in time to join granny and granddad on the school pickup. Typically it was raining at just that time.

It brightened up significantly so tonight I dragged my mum and her sore leg out for a walk. We went round by the river – what a mistake. We were eaten alive by midges. I am still scratching!

The sun was shining on this oil seed rape field across the river from where we were walking .
