Darkest England & the Way Out

'Darkest England and the Way Out' was written by General William Booth, founder of The Salvation Army. Along with Catherine his wife they started the Salvation Army, bringing the light of the gospel into the darkness that existed then and still does today. These figurines of William and Catherine with the light behind remind me of that famous book.
