Aren't they supposed to be red?

A colleague's leaving drinks this evening took me (Chris) over the river from the office towards the Bank of England. Amongst the commuters dashing for thir favoured transport home, I spotted this pair of classic telephone boxes and a rather well located lamp. A quick google suggests they were painted as part of last year's 60th birthday celebration for the Samaritans. They certainly stand out, perhaps because they are an increasingly rare sight but I think more so for the colour!
