I was at the Lighthouse in Glasgow today for a seminar on progress on implementing the Children's Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 and looking at the emerging information on how practice us developing.

Some interesting information on how some local variations are emerging along with discussions on how we might be more innovative in getting the views of children.

Also, a desire to understand better the practice and dynamics within hearings themselves, evidenced by data rather than anecdote.

Followed by a separate and useful meeting and discussion about appointments.

On my way up the escalator to the meeting room I saw this example of creative design as part of the current exhibition there. A unique and dramatic creation.
