Before the thunderstorm

My working day started at 4:45 AM with an airside audit at Malpensa airport. A cool, rainy morning which turned out to be cloudy for the rest of the day. Left the airport at 3:30 PM and drove for an hour to be finally back to my small town.
I was very tired but decided to go for a short walk in the centre, by the canal, to release the stress of the day and reset my mind.
I took this picture just before a short but intense thunderstorm which hit the valley bringing loads of water.
