Bank holiday BBQ at the field

Supposedly did some work in the morning!!! Then headed to the field about 1:30. Just sat and chatted as the kids played. A pork joint went on the fire about 2ish and we ate about 6, just as the weather started to deteriorate and everyone headed under the shelter!

Bumped into one of the kids we used to see back in the days of being a schools worker. He recognised me straight away but 15 years on has given him plenty of time to 'grow up'. It was really nice chatting to him and hearing what he remembers and what he's up to now.
