What do May showers bring?

So if April showers bring May flowers, what do May showers bring?
I was leaving the Post Office this morning when the sky opened up, heavily but briefly, drenching everything and everyone.
Then it was gone. I don't mind the tropical weather but I'd like the temperature, the palm trees, the clear water and the white sand beach to go with it, preferably.
