Cornwall Terrace, Regent's Park, London

Designed by Decimus Burton working under the direction of the mighty John Nash, Cornwall Terrace was the first completed terrace to be built around Regent's Park. It was built in 1821 by Burton's father James Burton.

It sits within the Crown Estate, owned by the Monarch, and was part of a scheme devised by the Prince Regent who would later be George IV.

No.1 Cornwall Terrace, nearest in the picture, is one of the most expensive properties in the world and has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.
