Flakes

You wouldn't want these for your breakfast though - they're probably a little tough....

This is the bark of a maritime pine, standing proudly in the Botanic Gardens.

I'm trying out a new lens on approval, so it's a shame that the weather was a bit drab this evening and quite dull. The lens is pretty fast though (it's a Sigma 120-300mm f/2.8) and as you can see plenty sharp enough. I now just need to work out whether I want to swap my AF-S 300mm f/4 for it...

What do you reckon blippers? Stick with my Nikon or go for the Sigma... I'm stuck!
