I saw this conscientious little fellow at my brother Jonathan’s house. Throughout the day he sent me a text spontaneously deciding to invite me over for dinner, partially for my company, and partially to share with me a rather large batch of delicious pumpkin soup he had made during the day. This soup was coupled with a glass of wine, some crusty bread, and the company of our cousin (and Jon’s housemate) Frances and her boyfriend Adam. It was a lovely dinner after what was a very enjoyable day off.

Currently I’m actually very busy! With doing full time uni and working two jobs, with one person currently on a well deserved trip overseas causing me to do some extra shifts, I’m only getting one day off a week. That day is Thursday, now also known as, my favourite day. To celebrate this joyous day I went to the shops to do as the name suggests and shop. I treated myself to a bakery fresh delicious sausage roll and hot jam donut for lunch and then spent the afternoon making a comic for my website www.middaypyjamas.com. I haven’t put the new comic up on the site yet though as it’s Mother’s Day themed and will be put up on Sunday.

As you can tell a fantastically enjoyable day spent doing things I love, one that reminds you why you work so much during the week, just so these days can be so very enjoyable. Although I wouldn’t mind if the ratio was just a little more even.
