Magnolia: Day 2

These incredible flowers, with their spicy fragrance, have such a brief period of beauty. They open one day, creamy white and smooth, and turn vintage tan overnight. I blipped a snowy blossom several days ago View here, and this nearly spent one yesterday. I had to pull the branch down with one hand and have the camera ready in the other and shot blindly (several times). I love how sculptural the blossoms are!
