In full bloom

The Passion flower is going berserk, so many flowers out all at once, it is lovely.

Nearly world war 3 today. The gardeners came to remove the gravel from outside our house and replace it with new. One of our neighbours (English!!) came down and started haranguing the gardener and Roy. Why! he claims it is wasteful to remove perfectly good gravel and replace it with new. The fact that the gravel has been down for 8 years and is looking a little sad, is one of the reasons, the other is white will compliment the new tiles that have been laid.

Once he started the Germans came out and were huffing and puffing and tutting, tough, the decision has been made by the President and we are going ahead with it. Another thing that will annoy them, Roy and I have decided we will use the old gravel in our garden, but we are going to pay for it. So hopefully that might keep people quiet.
