Scuthvie
We took our "new" car out to test its legs on a run up to the North end of the island this afternoon. Scuthvie was less of a pleasure than usual as the beach is now largely boulder and pebble instead of the expanse of sand that used to be there. The western end remains sandy, thankfully. We tried to find a way back to the car over the dunes rather than stumble over the stones again. We ended up going home the way that we came.
The sun shone, the wind failed to blow, and the sea made soothing noises. What more could we possibly hope for?
