Roseberry Topping

Thanks once again for all the comments and stars for yesterdays blip. Today we walked from Great Ayton to Saltburn which was about 13 miles including a detour to climb to the top of Roseberry Topping. I wasn' going to do that but as it was the beginning of the day, decided that I would be disappointed with myself if I didn't climb it!
We had a good day's walking and the scenery was beautiful. We walked up and down, through bluebell woods and lots of wild garlic. The fields of rape flowers were stunning , I have never seen so many as this year.
Update on my Mum, she is apparently making good progress at the rehabilitation hospital and today has been up and dressed and beginning to mobilise and has even been cracking jokes!!
