Wild Garlic

Allium ursinum, ramsons, buckrams, broad-leaf garlic, wood garlic, bear leek, bear's garlic....

A wild relative of chives, whatever you like to call it.

The smell is unmistakable and the sight of a carpet of these in the woods is truly beautiful.

I tried several shots and wanted to single out the flowerhead, so did a little bit of processing to produce this final shot.
