Scrap

Whilst working on the big house I've saved all the old lead piping and scraps. Today I went to the Scrap Metal Merchant and had it weighed and sold it. Did quite well. Interesting conversation in this strangely lunar landscape of piles of metal indoors and out. The guy was worried about how much scrap there is and the amount of energy used to recycle it all. 'Can the planet take it' was his question. Good question in an overpopulated world.
