Rainy Day Iris

It's been raining nonstop all morning, but I didn't mind because I've been in the kitchen preparing for my book group tonight. I'm fixing a salad recommended by fellow Blipper dbifulco, and I must say it is colorful and beautiful. Dessert will be lemon bars from Barefoot Contessa. I'm grateful today for friends who like to read, drink wine, and share a good meal. Sometimes we talk a lot about the book, sometimes we barely talk about it all, but we always have fun and lots of laughs.
